DOTP is a slightly colored liquid, with a characteristic odor. The product is stable under normal storage and usage conditions, in tightly closed containers. It is used as a plasticizer of PVC and its applications in plastics industry as well as in paints and varnishes industry

Advantages 

* Does not cause chemical changes at polymers, but executes physical and mechanical changes. 

* The product is flammable; it forms explosive mixture with air. 

* Could perform in low temperature. 

* Could be solved with general solvents. 

* Could not be extracted with water. 

* Could be mixed with all monomers at soften of PVC. 

* It has a high electrical resistance. 

Applications 

DOTP is recommended for use in select consumer goods, film & sheet, coated fabrics, flooring, wall coverings and wire & cable.
